Matchmaking and Logistical Support

  • What if I don’t have a team or friends to play with?

    You’re not alone — seriously.
UMADD was designed to welcome solo pilots, scouts, mercs, and curious loners. You can:

    - Join pickup matches
    - Enter 1v1 duels to train or rank
-Get drafted into teams via Discord
    - Earn a spot as a Referee, Bouncer, or Match Logger

If you love structure, strategy, or storytelling — you’ll find your place.
Terminal One remembers every pilot… even the ones who arrive alone.

  • How do I schedule a UMADD match?

Matches are scheduled through an official referee or League Official. There will also be scheduled events for teams to come take part in.
You can apply via Discord, form a challenge between two teams, or request a pick-up game night.

Referees review availability, confirm teams, and assign a MatchID once approved.

  • What do I need ready before the match starts?

    You must have:

    - A verified ship that fits the correct tier and doctrine
    - Fleet bookmarks or arena warps
    - Willingness to share screenshot for fit check controls
    - Your name registered on the official match roster

Referees will not delay matches for unprepared pilots. Teams will be penalized for game delays.

  • How long do matches last?

Match duration varies by format but generally runs:

    1v1s: ~5–10 minutes

    3v3s to 5v5s: ~10–15 minutes

10v10s and full matches: up to 20 minutes

Referees may trigger Frenzy Mode (sudden death) if the victory condition is not met within the time limit.

  • What’s a MatchID and why is it important?

The MatchID is a unique code assigned to every sanctioned match.
It links all data — rosters, killmails, referee logs, and rankings — into Terminal One. Without a MatchID, the game isn’t tracked, ranked, or recorded in league history.

  • Can I cancel or reschedule a match?

Yes — matches can be rescheduled before start time if both teams agree and the referee is receives confirmation.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in penalties, especially in league standings or campaign events.

  • Are arenas standardized?

Not fully — but each match must occur within an pre-approved League Stadium Bookmark Grid.
Player-owned stadiums are encouraged! They must follow official guidelines, warp-ins, and obstruction guidelines.

League stadiums will evolve over time as more are built.
